How much space and how many workspaces do I get?+
Basic includes 250 GB and 1 workspace, Plus 1 TB and 2 workspaces, Pro 2 TB and 3, and Max 5 TB and 5. Each workspace keeps its own files, favorites and settings. Compare subscriptions.
Where are my files kept, and who can see them?+
Your files are stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States and are encrypted at rest by AWS. Only you can see them until you share something. Document search and analysis read only the documents you choose to index. You can delete your account in Account settings, which deletes your profile and every file in your cloud.
What are Policies, and which plans include them?+
Policies are rules that organize new uploads automatically. For example, move incoming PDFs into an Invoices folder or star files that match a rule. You can also apply a rule to existing files. Policies are part of the planned Plus, Pro and Max subscriptions.
What can the AI assistant do, and which plans include it?+
Ask it to find files, create folders, rename or move items, set reminders, answer questions about your storage and recent uploads, or change preferences such as your theme. It handles one change per request and asks when details are missing. Type your request, or use optional dictation in supported browsers; spoken replies are optional, with six voices. Pro includes the assistant, and Max includes twice Pro’s usage. Watch the assistant demo.
What can I keep, and do I need to install anything?+
Images, documents, videos, audio, archives and more. Upload single files or whole folders, and preview supported formats without leaving BCCloud. There is nothing to install: it runs in your browser, and your files and preferences are there when you sign in on another device. On Windows 10 and 11, subscribers can also use the desktop app.
How do Kits help me organize a project?+
A Kit brings a checklist, files and deadlines together. Start with a template for a move, trip or event, or create your own. Track missing documents, preview a schedule around a target date, save a private template, and download an offline summary with the attached files.
Does document search read every file automatically?+
No. Search by filename across your own workspaces without document analysis. To search inside supported documents and scans, turn on document analysis and content search for a workspace, then index the documents you need. Results show matching text with page or worksheet references. Filing and reminder suggestions are separate: you review them before anything changes.
Can I choose how I’m reminded?+
Set a one-time reminder or a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly schedule, with advance alerts in BCCloud. You can download dates for your calendar. In Email settings, opt in to deadline alerts or a daily digest sent to your verified address, and choose the digest time and time zone. Both email options start off.
Can I continue an interrupted upload?+
Yes. Transfers keeps resumable uploads available for 24 hours. Reopen Transfers and reselect the original files to continue. Keep the browser open while uploading; the queue shows progress for each file.
How do cleanup and recovery work?+
Storage shows usage and large files. Duplicate scans compare eligible files up to 16 MiB by their contents; you review the matches and choose copies to move to Recently deleted. Restore deleted items during your selected recovery window, or use Recovery Center to restore available backup files into a separate private workspace.
Can I share files with other people?+
Yes. Find another BCCloud user by name or email, then send them a copy or invite them to view and download your originals. You can revoke access to your originals from Shared by me. A copy you send, or a file someone has already downloaded, stays with them.
How do I get started?+
Create your BCCloud account, then choose a plan. Your plan starts as soon as your first payment goes through.
