Your information

Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026

This policy explains how BCCloud handles information when you visit our website or use our cloud-storage application. BCCloud is operated by Brandon Cator as a sole proprietor.

Information we collect

Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, account connections, preferences and normal operation. Our website may load resources such as fonts from external providers, which receive the connection information needed to deliver them.

Google sign-in and optional Google features

When you choose to sign in with Google, Google provides a stable account identifier, your email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture when available. We use this information to create or identify your BCCloud account, authenticate you, display your profile and maintain your session. Google authentication is handled through Amazon Cognito. BCCloud does not receive your Google password.

Signing in with Google does not give BCCloud access to your Gmail messages or Google Drive files. An optional Gmail sharing feature, when available and separately authorized, uses Gmail permissions to prepare a draft with the recipients, message and attachments you choose. Its Google access token is held temporarily in your browser; it is not stored by the BCCloud server. Drafts remain in your Gmail account until you change, send or delete them there.

BCCloud's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models.

Sign in with Apple

When you choose Continue with Apple, Apple provides an account identifier, an email address and, when you first authorize it, your name. Amazon Cognito handles Apple authentication for BCCloud. If you choose Hide My Email, we receive Apple's private relay email address instead of your personal address. We use this information to create or identify your BCCloud account, maintain your session and send service messages. BCCloud does not receive your Apple password or access to your iCloud files. You can manage or revoke BCCloud's access in your Apple Account settings; revoking access does not itself delete your BCCloud account or stored content.

How we use information

We use information to provide storage and account access; organize, retrieve and share content as you direct; carry out enabled reminders, policies and other features; maintain backups and recovery; provide support; understand feature reliability and usage; prevent abuse; and meet applicable legal obligations.

When you use the AI assistant, your prompt, conversation history, retrieved document content and account or workspace context may be sent to the configured AI provider. This context can include profile details such as your name, email and saved phone number, settings, file metadata, reminders, activity and sharing records. Document analysis can also process eligible uploads automatically when you enable that feature. Spoken responses may be sent to a speech provider. If you use microphone input, your browser or its speech-recognition service processes the audio to produce text. Assistant history and usage records support conversation history, limits and troubleshooting. These features process content according to the actions and settings you select.

When you submit a support request, in the application or through the Contact support form on this website, we store the name, email address, topic, description and additional details you submit so we can review and respond to your case, and a copy is emailed to our support inbox. An automated confirmation with your case number is emailed to your verified account email address for requests from the application, or to the email address you enter for requests from this website; it does not repeat what you wrote. Avoid including passwords, verification codes or other secrets in support requests.

Sharing and service providers

We share information with the people you choose through invitations, shared workspaces, links or other sharing features. Recipients may retain copies they download. Review your sharing settings before sending sensitive content.

Service providers process information to operate BCCloud. These include Amazon Web Services for hosting, authentication, storage, databases and related infrastructure; Google for Google sign-in and separately authorized Google features; Apple for Sign in with Apple and its optional private email relay; Cloudflare for the security check on this website’s support form; and, when enabled, OpenAI or Google for AI responses and OpenAI or ElevenLabs for speech. Optional Microsoft mail features send the information you select to Microsoft when you authorize that feature.

Information may also be accessed as needed to provide requested support, investigate security or service problems, comply with law, or protect users and the service. BCCloud does not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Storage, security and retention

BCCloud stores application data using AWS infrastructure in the United States. Providers may process information in other locations under their own service terms. We use HTTPS, access controls and AWS storage encryption to protect information. These measures do not make storage risk-free.

We retain account information and content while needed to operate your account and the features you use. Deletion, trash, version-history and backup settings can affect when copies are removed. Deleting an item or account does not necessarily erase every backup or operational record immediately. Backup and point-in-time recovery copies are kept for up to 35 days and then permanently erased. Assistant conversation history is deleted automatically after 90 days. Some information may be retained for recovery, security, dispute resolution or legal obligations, and is removed when no longer needed for those purposes.

Your choices and requests

You can update account details and settings, manage shared access, remove content, clear available assistant history, and request account deletion through the application. You can also email us to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information; we may need to verify your identity before acting.

You can revoke BCCloud's Google access through your Google Account's third-party connections. Revoking access does not itself delete your BCCloud account or content; use account deletion or contact us for that. Files or messages already shared with other people or external services must be managed with those recipients or services.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. Contact us at catorbrandon89@gmail.com to discuss a request.

Children and policy updates

BCCloud is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

We will post updates on this page with a revised effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide additional notice or request consent where required.
